    • Presenters: Mike Adkins, CASC State Outreach Director (California Association of Student Councils) and other CASC State Officers

3. Pills and Thrills – Pharming for Death

    • Presenters: Kern County Friday Night Live Youth Council Members – 12 students

4. Adapt Improvise & Overcome – an overview of the DEVIL PUPS (Marine Corps) Program

    • Presenters: DEVIL PUPS youth program participants and local coordinator

5. Reach for Greatness Mentoring: Students with a Mission (SWAM)

    • Presenters: Manuel Carrizalez, Leon Conley and a panel of SWAM youth from local schools

6. Link Crew – Making Freshman Success a Reality

    • Presenters: Highland High School Link Crew – a peer buddy program

7. Youth As Peacemakers – Safe School Ambassadors

    • Presenters: Chuck Monaco and a panel of Junior and High School students involved as Safe School Ambassadors

8. Youth Graduation Empowerment – Project BEST – School Drop-Out Prevention and College Advancement Program

    • Presenters: Project BEST (Black Excellence in Scholarship and Teaching) students and Carnell Montgomery

9. Think Globally, Act Locally: The True Story of the "Invisible Children" and How YOU can Get Involved and "GO"

    • Presenters: Paul Giandalia – Invisible Children and local students that adopted this project at their schools

10. Igniting Your Spark - - How Young People Can Be Leaders for Positive Change

    • Presenter: Clay Roberts, conference opening speaker, nationally recognized youth conference presenter and author of model drug prevention programs that have been highlighted on NBC’s Today Show and in Newsweek Magazine

20. Drugs make you feel low, get a Natural High and say NO!

    • Presenters: Producers of the Natural High® DVD Series would like YOUR expert opinion on how to reach young people and communicate the values of living drug free, for inclusion in their next film. The DVD Series features extreme sports athletes and musicians who have made the decision to live drug-free and want to encourage youth to do the same.
