Clay Roberts

Clay Roberts is Founder and President of Roberts & Associates and he is from Bainbridge Island, Washington. Mr. Roberts has been a Keynote presenter at over 700 international, national, regional, state, and local community events.

Clay has been a consultant in over 40 states and 6 foreign countries including the following agencies and groups:

Programs highlighted in Instructor magazine, U.S. News & World Report, Newsweek, Good Housekeeping, and on "Hour Magazine", "PBS Frontline", and a PBS nationally televised special "It Shouldn’t Hurt to Be a Kid"

Member of numerous committees and work groups, including the following:

Adult past president and supporter of the Bainbridge Island Teen Center

Mr. Roberts is the principal author or co-developer of the following publications and programs

Rashaan Shehee

Rashaan was born is Southeast Los Angles, California. He moved with his family to Bakersfield, CA and graduated from Foothill High School.  After graduating he attended the University of Washington and played football. He became a Third Round Draft choice into the National Football League (NFL) and played three years for the Kansas City Chiefs and one year in the XFL.

Rashaan is currently a Financial Services Planner, a small business owner and a Health Educator at Bakersfield High School for the past eight years. He teams with his wife Rukiya and is the father of two children, Kailynn and Rashaan Jr.

Wendy Avila

Wendy grew up here in the Bakersfield area. Graduated from West High School and then went on to University of California Santa Barbara (WCSB). She received her law degree from The University of Francisco Law School.

Wendy is currently a Deputy District Attorney assigned to the Gang Task Force. She is a Board Member of Latina Leaders of Kern County, an Adjunct Lecturer in the Political Science Department of California State University Bakersfield (CSUB), and a Board Member of HOPE (Hispanas Organized for Political Equality). She has been working to provide a voice to Latinas to develop their personal growth, prosperity and political clout.
